Re: Good Boat names

When I am on the boat I am a happy person. When I am on my boat we are together (a bit of a stretch). Therefore we are Happy Together.

And from 1967 this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZEURntrQOg

It is also part of where the boat name came from, one of my personal favorites.

Re: Good Boat names

As many boat names mine came by evolution. We were setting around in the garage one day after working on my 66 Holiday V and a cheap bottle (plastic I might add) of bourbon started passing around.... One said... "there is not enough "O's" in smoooooooooth to discribe the taste of this"

Thus.. came the "Smooooooth"

Re: Good Boat names

my 19' caravelle cuddy is called rumblefish. It was a Nick name from high school that suits a boat.

Boats I have seen in for service at work
- tricky but legal
- always wet
- better when wet
- nickel bonus - our city has many workers in the mines and for a year and a half or so the price of nickel was extremely high so employees were making 10,000-15,000$ per quarter bonus. There has been 3 different boats come in called that

Re: Good Boat names

been trying to come up with a name for my boat. got all sorts in mind, but nothing seems to fit her. but i thought there was a rule to boat names, that it had to be a female name?
