I need a trailer for my boat and after many hours of looking have decided that nobody in NC sells them for less than that of the price of a small mansion. Until today when I saw a 1974 fiberfoam 24' fishing boat with a cabin on a tandem roller style deep vee trailer for $1400.00 bucks. I dont really want the boat but was wondering if maybe buying the package deal and then selling the boat to get to the trailer might work? The boat has all of the major components (engine 225hp OMC, out drive ect) and appears to have no major damage. The only thing missing is the carb on the engine. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, Kep

If 1400 is a fair price for the trailer then donate the boat.Charlie

Charlie is right on track.Or you could put it in your yard and make a hell of a planter out of it.

Kevin

Old boats without a trailer is nothing but trouble to sell. The fed tax laws has change as for as donating it.So,if you do a price search, the boat might be only $300.to start breaking out on taxes, you would have to be above that. The first $300 doesn't do any good for taxes other then from your heart!
There is trouble in them dare hills, pass it by and keep looking.
