Good hull? Bad hull?

I've been looking for my first project boat. I found an 86 laser and a G3. Both bare hulls. My question is, is there anything besides the obvious warps, cracks, and rot that I should look for. Anything that is easily missed?

I do not know anything about those hulls. But after going through the work to redo mine just make sure you love the hull you will end up with. It makes all the work worth doing

Other than huge gaping holes, they can all pretty much be fixed.

Some will require more work than others, pics would help us help you better.

The G3 http://www.g3skiboat.com/ is more "collectible" and people restore them. The laser is a faster hull design. Both hulls if stripped will require allot of work and probably equal investment in time and money.

Thanks for the input guys. The g3's got sold already. I think I'm gonna. go for the Laser. I'll make sure I post some pics if I have future questions. Thanks again.
