Im might buy a 2004 150 evinrude. its been winterized and we did a cold compression test , its been setting for 2.5 months, the numbers came all out to 100 all 6 cylinders do you think they would get back to 120 range once i start useing it again
If all cylinders were right equal at 100, I wouldnt worry about it, all is good. The main thing is that they are equal. Decarb may bring it up a little, but alot of the V6 Johnny Rudes arent going to get 160 psi by any means.
The 2004 should be a FI engine and 100psi is ok as your guage could be reading low(their all equal). I would have it checked with a laptop/software to see how many hours are on engine and what rpm range it was most operated at.
