Good motor or bad? 61'QD-22F

I ran across a 10HP Johnson on ebay that is within driving distance and was curious if these motors had any common weaknesses to watch out for. It is a QD-22F, and a 1961 model that looks very good for it's age. My current 61' Evinrude 5.5 gets the job done as a kicker motor but a little more speed and power would be nice, if the 10HP can be bought cheap enough. Are these normally pretty easy to deal with and repair?

Good motors. But if abused by failing to do proper maintenance, the lower unit will rebel. Condition is everything.
