After doing a search on this site I found a name and number for CEPCO (formerly Clinton Engines). I called the number 563-652-2411 and left a message. The answering machine greeting only said "We are unable to take your call at this time please leave a message". While not real hopeful after hearing a greeting that did not identify the company by name I left a message anyway. Lo and behold this morning I got a call from a gentleman identifing himself as being with the Clinton Engine company and he was returning my call.

He stated that many parts for these old engines are still available as the production of engines has stopped but the service department is still open. If you call, be sure to have your part number and description available. I have a manual so I was able to reference this information (they also have manuals available).

He took the info on the parts that I needed and stated he would call me back later today. I will update this post after I hear back from him.

Hope this helps.

Well it didn't take long for the gentleman to call me back. I ordered 5 parts my total was $59.59 including $6.50 shipping and handling. The only downside is they do not accept credit cards and you must mail them a check or money order. I am going to get my order out today. I will update when I receive them.

I have that number stashed away in an old email and have given it out occasionally.I had wondered if it still worked. Will be interested to here how you make out.Did you say you needed part numbers?Or just the model number?
Do you know what they get for a manual and is the manual for parts and service?

They do have manuals available but I found one previously on ebay for $5 so I didn't even ask what they were selling them for. The manual I have has instructions, an exploded parts diagram, and a parts list with part number and description. The person i talked to asked for both the part number and description as printed in my manual. I mentioned that I had a K 751 but that did not seem to interest him.

I ordered an impeller, drive gear, retaining clip (that goes on the drive shaft) and both seals for the gear box below and my total with shipping was $59.59. I realize that that may be a bit to put into an old engine but the price I got the engine for was a song.

True these motors are marginal performers but usually cheap to buy and your parts order was cheap enough.I think some impellers alone are close to that and I think a drive gear could be scary to price.

Ok here's the update I promised. I received the parts I ordered today. They came by regular mail in a canvas bag. The only complaint is that I did not get one of the parts I ordered, a small retaining clip, but otherwise, they gave great customer service.
