.... ah I havent heard much myself but was hoping some other people have. Im just burned out from hearing depressing stuff all the time, kinda brings a guy down.
I think half the problem is the media. They promote so much bad news that we forget good things are still happening.
Here is an example of the "good news"from yesterday---
On HLN---Only 364,000 workers laid off last month.A definite sign of economic improvement.
At one time there was a Good News Forum.It didn't get enough response and was added into Dockside Chat.
I have thought about that a few times myself. everyone is scared to spend any money. If they start talking about other stuff will people forget about it and spend a little more?Its interesting that even when delivering "good" news they choose to headline it in a negative way?
I believe it all has an effect on you psyche. After reading a positive or 'feel good' article my mood in general inproves. Perhaps more uplifting stories could help turn our ecomomy around simply by changing peoples perspective of the world around them.
