quick and dirty job, throwing her back in tomorrow AM and taking her out alllll day! Lets hope this doesn't repeat itself 30 days from now

I don't want to bust your bubble (or barnacle :facepalm:) but more than likely that growth will return again. Personally I have not heard of any outdrive antifouling paints that really work. Most of that growth was probably just a fuzzy algae type and not barnacles per say. Just pull it every few weeks and pressure wash. Thats all they do around here on the Chesapeake. No need to torture yourself with all that painting.

Well I'm glad I didn't rent the power washer and bought it instead :) if that's the case...

Yeah, any boat stored in the salt will get that growth on it. It's really fun cleaning the prop shafts off of our CC. A good quick trip takes most of the muscles and barny's off, but has to get a good scraping every once in a while to.
