I have been offered a Goodyear outboard model 025-3564 ser number 227316. There is no lower unit. I have not checked the spark, compression, of any other funciton as of yet. I am in the initial research function. Can anyone provide any ar all information to decide if it is worth it?

My info indicates it is a 48 it shares parts with
a Gale 2G7 It is a 5 hp and uses a 16:1 mix.
You could fix it up for the fun of it but dont look to make any money.Parts

I beleive laings outboards (.com) sells a few parts for your motor, they have alot of used lower units also. I bought various parts for my 66' Sea King from him a few times, good guy.

Good luck!
Brian

I talked to Laings. They have no lower units for that outboard. He said I should be able to get one relatively easily. Anyone have any suggestions?
