Hello all,

I'm looking for information on a Goodyear Sea Bee 3 outboard motor.

I couldn't find a model number anywhere on the body. The only numbers I found were 0623081 on a silver cap on the engine and a serial number I think of 591030 stamped on the engine body.

I'm specifically looking for a new magneto as the old one is dry-rotted. The number on the magneto ignition assembly is 580168-1.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the info! The plate is there. Unfortunately, over time a screw has worn a perfect arc through the numbers. All I can make out is 225-3XXX on the model and nothing on the serial number.

Pretty easy, that would be in the range of 1956 through 1959. They're all about alike during those years. Ignition parts are the same as Evinrude & Johnson, same years (except it takes one of each item instead of two). Get them right here at iboats.
