I have a Goodyear Sea Bee 5 hp model 025-3564 which was made in 1948. It currently has Champion J6J spark plugs. Is there a replacement spark plug that has end terminals that unscrew? Is there a parts manual on line for this motor? Does anyone know the part number for the impeller?

Unless you are trying to keep it 100% "correct" orginal, do yourself a favor and put modern rubber boots on the spark plug wires. The impeller, properly called a "rotor" is part number 550040. Available from Brian Wilcox at pfs-ware.com/impellers.htm

Thank you F R. Yes, I am trying to keep it original. The motor has J6J spark plugs which have been replaced by Champion with J6C. I am able to find J6J plugs but I am wondering if that is the correct plug that is listed in the Gale parts manual.

The original parts book for that model gives the OMC number, 302283. I can't find what exactly that is. However, it is superceded by 378101 which is a J4J.

My old plug chart says J7J but I doubt you can find any.
J6J will work it is just a tad cooler.Newer Sea Bees 50 up use J6J.
As the whole Gale line did in the early to mid 50s.
