Went to river today, had five gallons of premixed (50:1) fuel in tank. Decided to stop and get gas. Put exactly 10 gallons of gas in gas tank of boat. Thought to myself . . . I must remember to put oil in when I get to the launch. I didn't. I idled out of the channel (100 yards). Went at 25% to 35% power for about 1-2 minutes and then remembered I hadn't put the oil in. Shut engine off. Dumped oil in and went about the rest of the afternoon (hour and a half or so). I hope I didn't cause irreparable harm to my engine. 1258x5a. 125 hp 1985. Rebuilt last winter. Had maybe 25 hours on the rebuild. Engine performed fine and didn't show anything abnormal in the time I was out on the water. No smoke. No overheat. Nothing noticeable. Someone please try to reassure me. Thanks, Eric
