Very good Rick. General Patton clearly was right about America when he made his famous statement, but he did not reach maturity in the 1960s (as I did). (Guess I miss spoke: ol' Murky never actually reached maturity n' doesn't plan on ever growin' up!!)

The door knobs n' miss fits; selfish n; self absorbed; ding dongs n' dim wits dominated the baby boomers in the late 1960s, (Cornservatives like ol' Murky n' Rush Limbaugh did exist but the nare do wells dominated in those glory days). The likes of Jane Fonda and John F Kerry were worshiped, n' they did manage to get her, (the USA) in the ditch in 1975. They profited politically fer a few years 'till the rest of us woke up n' showed Jimmy Carter the door, n' thank GOD fer Ronald Reagan!!!

The ol' ghost of John F Kerry, (talk about a looser that a record number of dim wits voted fer) rose again in November 2004, n' it was closer then I would have liked. I hope General Patton's observation will again prevail, as this is likely the last time the loosers of the baby boomers (mostly dim wit Dems) can assert themselves in 2008. Let's hope the loosers really loose, n' the winners win! Great POST!!! JR

for the record, I've come a full 180? on the war - what did was hearing a few reports about al-qaeda reasserting itself, and realizing why it's taken 'em six years. I'm still not convinced that our invasion of Iraq was justified on the basis of the reasons given - just doesn't seem relevant - I don't need to be convinced. That might be an irrational viewpoint, but it's mine.

yeah, you could call it obvious.......I'd of probably used "apparent". You could say my opinion on the wisdom, maybe the necessity of the war has.....evolved...... I aspire to be a-political about it.

Not being entirely confident in what the media reports (hows that for understatement), you never know what exactly to believe, but when NPR starts throwing out the occasional in-depth story about increasing AQ influence - it starts to dawn on you - they've really been held back by something - and I doubt it's fear of death, if ya know what I mean.

Yes they do exist, but will enough of them vote to out weigh the dim wit victims who are lookin' fer a handout, at the expense of OUR system?? That's the real question.


Let's hope we win at least the White House in 2008, likely they will not get much of a chance fer many years: if we do. It would be real nice if the dim wits stopped drinkin' Kool aid n' smelled what's actually in the terlet n' flushed some turds in Congress too!!


Maybe ol' Murky's dreamin' here, but the WH in 2008 is in reach, (IMHO: go Hillary!).

Americans really don't like loosers n' how else could ya characterize the current crop of dim wit Dem Prez candidates? Respectfully, JR
