Yep, it would have been a great gift, mom is a great hunter.<br />She would have had fun in Texas.<br /><br />I've watched her hunt and she doesn't appear to be paying attention to anything, much less her prey.<br />But she comes home with moles, mice, and chipmunks.<br />She even caught 2 chipmunks (that I saw) last week, when she was the size of a basketball.<br /><br />She's pretty stupid though. She laid a live chippy down next to her food dish so she could walk over and get a drink. She had to catch that thing all over again.<br /><br />She isn't interested in birds at all.<br />But she used to play with 2 of my parrots when she was little, until they really got her one day. I had little bloody cat footprints on the kitchen floor. Since then, you can't get her to look at a bird.<br />She will lay under the bird feeder and won't even look at the birds as they come and go.
