LOL now in the 60's and 70's the old STP stickers would add HP and scare away people in a street race

Along with the fake dual exhaust and fake 327 emblems and riding the clutch while holding the brake to make it sound like you had a big cam.

No voluntary checks, but I was boarded by the local cops last year. Got a warning for not having enough fire extinguishers, since one of the two I showed him had the needle dipped just below the 'OK' area.
As soon as he pushed off, I remembered I had a third extinguisher under my bunk.

Either way, no stickers for me. Only safety check sticker on the boat is from the late 70's/early 80's.

Got mine last week. I was told it'll keep the coast guard from doing a general boarding and inspection. They are mostly for safety and boater awareness.

In SoCal...You needed the STP sticker, a HURST shifter sticker and a Edelbrock sticker...
Well, that and my 327 SBC with the Holley 650 carb...Oh ya..Holley stickers too!
My dad needed MOON rim plates and Offenhouser stacks to be a bad arse...lol
