radial tires, and they are parked on dirt, i'd say you are probably good to go. (parking on dirt will tend to make them look more flat also)

1) what is the stated weight capacity of those tires (on the sidewall)
2) Do a search for douglas xtra trac tires on google and decide if you really want those things on your trailer.

Re: Got a tire rating question bout towing boat

There is another active thread talking about tire life. They're talking about 7-10 years as the maximum age for tires. I just had a trailer tire blow out the other day. I have no idea how old the tire was but it was pretty well checked and cracked. Had plenty of tread. The only thing it broke was a running light lens. We were in a place we could pull over but 20 miles before that were were on two lane, winding, mountain roads. Could have been a lot worse.

I replaced the trailer tires and the spare yesterday. Also went up one load rating. Yes - it seems a shame to throw away tires with plenty of tread left but in the case of trailer tires, the overall condition is more important than tread.

That would be true on any tire, not just trailer tires. Just that your average car tire accumulates miles faster than years.
