OK, so you've read all about my new boat and I posted a couple of photos. Do you guys have any photos, especially showing something you've done to improve efficiency, storage, handling, etc.?

Dan

Re: Got any Photos/Set-up Tips?

The only thing I've done so far is add a handheld GPS. It has a mount, but instead of drilling holes in the console, I used heavy duty velcro with adheasive backing. I'm wondering how hard it would be to build a box between the bow deck and the console, across fom the rod locker. Sort of a mirror image of the rod locker and level with the deck. It would probably cost a fortune because I'd have to get a pro to do it.

I'm going to put in a cigarette lighter socket to run the GPS and VHF radio.

If you see a good deal on a tach and a trim gauge, please let me know. Faria makes a good looking set, black face with chrome bezel, but I can't find a retailer. Their site lists wholesalers but I can't find anyone that has the model in stock and at a decent price.

Love the boat! Can't wait to get back out on the water.

Dan

I have a trim guage, I never even look at it, actually, other than when Im testing a prop, I dont look at the tach or the speedometer. Only guage I keep an eye on is the water preasure guage.

Might check Ebay for a tach.

Yea im thinkin about building a deck in the front as well with some fiberglass and carpet. Its really not that hard to do if you take the time and plan it out. Fiberglass doesnt have to look nice cause it will be covered by the carpet just has to be smooth.
