I don't know how you guys up north do.

We only have about 8 weeks of winter and that about kills me. No Red Eye?s bikini contests, no tiki bar, no lounge chairs on the beach. Can't imagine

A little of what your missing :D

I pick #45........and yes, I am starting to experience cabin fever. Just last night my wife was talking about what we could do this coming summer.....she has 5 weeks of holiday this year and 25 days saved from past years.....YEA!!!!!!!!!!:D

Re: Got Cabin Fever, Yet??

Last week it hit 58 degrees. A summer boat ride memory crossed my mind and it was like "wow! I have something great to look forward too. Winter is great for making you appreciate what time you do have on the Lakes. Winters make Spring fantastic. High temps start averaging in the 60s here in Sc in February. I will probably wait until a mid 70s to 80s day to get back on the water. Really, I couldn't take any longer winters than we have. My sympathies to the Northerners who don't like long winters or winter at all. Winters also make water safer to swim in. Many dangerous elements don't survive in cold water

....I'm suffering from it a bit but fortunately I have no shortage of projects to occupy my time.;)
Spring for us is just a few weeks away pretty much (late Feb) and I will start my lawn reseeding project probably in about 2-3 weeks. Snow for us this year to date has totalled about 3-4 days start to finish but we have been having some frosty days over the last week requiring some morning windshield de-ice scraping on the vehicles.
As for the boating....well I could be out there anytime right now but it would be a little cool and the boat is still 'tucked away' for the winter. However I will start some local trout fishing here before too long on the local lakes.
....now back to my basement reno's...:D

No cabin fever today. Packers/Bears and Jets/Steelers. Won't have time to get the fever. Today I will be suffering from football fever.

I hear ya! Almost game time! The BIG problem will be next year if there is a lock out. Next year will be even more dreadful. The commish is positive there won't be one. The Players association is positive it will happen
