Got Carbs Rebuilt now 78 115 wont stay running

Well I got my carbs rebuilt, by a well known local marine service center. I put them on and it started up fine… but then after a while it sneezed and shut off. If I keep it at higher rpm its fine, but like when I try to but it into gear it will sneeze and shut off, unless I just jam in into gear and throttle it up. try loosing screw on linkage that joins the carbs together it sounds like throttle may be opened on one carb

if the throttle on one carb is open that would cause it to stall or not idle?

Check your idle mix screws mine were out of wack and just had mine rebuilt also I turned them 1/2 turn out and it stayed running

Typically, the initial idle mix setting is 1-1/2 turns out from LIGHTLY seated

...im sure after 9 years, the op probably has worked out the issue, one way or another.

Now I know it's been a bad day when I don't THAT date!
