my neighbor sold me the 74 lund today. I've been chopping at the bit to get it and start cleaning it up and get it running.been setting for 9 years. It's a 14 ft boat-61 inches across at the rear-sides look to be 20 inches tall. It's dusty and all, but the more i clean on it, it better it looks. Took off some of the side lids that where screwed down at the factory and found real good looking flotation fowm, i guess this thing is unsinkable! I'm going to try to document all the work i'mi doing. doesn't look like i'm going to change the layout,i like it like it is.just clean it up - get it running - and paint some of the addons.heres some pics!:)

Yeah, looks to me like that boat has been pretty nicely kept. Good job!

Got a question, coinman. What kind of tractor is that? I was guessing Farmall B but not so sure.

Chief- it's a 1949 farmall cub- my grandfather had one - my dad had one - so you guessed it, i had to have one. We bought 6 acres out west of little rock ark about 16 yrs ago, so kept looking around till i found this one.Its not a cream puff, but it works good for my needs, pulling a fire wood wagon around.it's just a flat head 4 cyl, but its strong enough for that. Needless to say, i learned how to work on it,brakes- tune up - pack bearings- just the easyer stuff.

OK right, the cub. I remember now. I was thinking it looked a little smaller than the B.

:DDanMC, i kind of cheated on those pics, I took the pics right after washing the boat and getting 5 yrs of dust off. They really dont shine like that when the seats are dry, but the old boat is in great shape, it just had not been used in a long time. My wife and i have been out in it fishing every weekend for 3 weeks and i just really am enjoying the boat. I have not really seen anything major that i want to change. Maybe some rod and cup holders :)
