Got my first boat . . . and it's a Starcraft!!!

So i just dragged home my first boat today, a 1971 21' Chieftain! I've been lurking around the forums all summer learning and seeing the issues and fixes that people have implemented so I want to thank you all . . . you helped whether you knew it or not!

There'll be more pics to come but made sure i took at least one before picking up the kids for entry into the Starmada!

Thanks guys! Tomorrow morning I'm gonna go out and do some cleaning so I'll take some more pics!
I already know of a few things I need to do right off the bat like finish painting the outside of the cabin and all the electrical in the transom area makes me cringe. The PO stripped the cabin to aluminum and while it looks cool needs paint.

But it purrs and everything seems to work so I'm fonna have a friend give it a once over then try to launch it this weekend!

Just got my new tires in today...ordered them yesterday!?!
Got them from trailertiresandwheels.com, only $33 ea. pretty sweet, now I should be able to get her out on the lake this weekend!

Just tires...didn't need the wheels, but still $10 cheaper than anywhere else I looked!

Although I just looked because you made me curious and I could have gotten wheels with the tires for like $52 each ... Still $30 cheaper than most places

If there's a Tractor supply close by, I bought 2 4.8X12 5lug tires & rims for $55ea on sale a while back, down from $80

Great to hear there's a big Spending soon!
