I've been struggling to get a tattoo as well. I'm 48 and always wanted one. Been struggling with what to get, until I saw this one......

I wanted the marine theme.

And buy the way...Rush is awesome.

Nice tat, I got mine when I was 18 (44 now).
I have the top half of a topless woman holding her.....well you know.
It was supposed to be a mermaid but couldn't afford the whole thing at the time.
I have been thinking about getting it touched up and finished soon.

That's hilarious. I wouldn't touch it up if I were you. If you did, you wouldn't have a story to tell about your tat.

Nice tat but come on with that vette prejudice. My FIL died in 93' and I still have his 63 vette, seems most who bash vettes are jealous

My wife never liked Rush until I took her to see them and we sat front row center. Now she's a fan!

That's not the kind of vette that screams small @*@$*(. That is one nice car.

Grew up with Rush (and will always love "Take Off") but have zero desire for a tat. Just not my thing and more power to those who want and get them.

thats great! I just added one for my son(10) a few months ago - my left shoulder area is kid reserved and fairly full with 3 of em - took us approx 3 yrs to get design right. It's number 5 :>)

Agreed, I want a nautical tat next.

My little brother has probably 40 tats and just got this incredible one. He is 21 years younger than I am. Sorry for the poor quality, he sent it via his phone to me but it's an awesome ship.

great detail!!! Congrats!!!! Dont forget to keep it cleaned a few times a day for a week or two, and no chlorinated jacuzzis or pools for 2 weeks!

I agree with you bruceb58 about the need for a tat.
I like the art work, but would not pin something on myself that could be used as a identification mark.
World history witnesses the Nazi SS to have saved human tattooed skin as war momentous.
Personally I'd like to save my own hyde.....
