On Lake Mead, had our pontoon circled several times and boarded once. Safety checks. They were friendly; praising our equipment and making suggestions. Checked our fishing licenses and cooler of fish. Wished us luck and left. We felt better knowing that we were legal and safe; hope everyone passes inspection so our pond stays safe and enjoyable.

well think of how many excuses and explanations the cops get all the time. it might inconvenience you for a short while, but in the end they are only doing a job and a service to the boating public by getting the tards off the water and maybe detering some boaters into not boating drunk and maybe saving you or a loved ones life by doing so. everybody has a job to do, you by being a responsible adult and boater and them by doing inspections and ocassionally getting the dumb @$$es off the water.
