This past weekend I got too close to shore at the lake and my lower drive touched the bottom (sandy surface) briefly at which point I turned off motor and pushed boat to higher water before re-starting. I ran the boat for about another hour or so with no problems whatsoever. Temp stayed at about 140 deg at all speed levels. Is there something I should still be doing or given that it ran with no problems after the fact, that I should not be concerned?

just chk to see that you didn't take a piece of prop off ,That would throw it out of balance.
You could change your lower gear lube, just incase
stressed the seal and water entered, but I don't think so.also a flush with muffs on wouldn't hurt.

Rich
