santa got me a bag a chocolate covered peanuts and some headband type earmuffs for the cold ne. weather.... i'm gonna share the peanuts with the family. the uncle and his wife are coming over from omaha today for a christmas dinner and he likes chocolate covered peanuts, so hoping that'll be a winer with him.

this is the first year in my 48 that my family hasn't exchanged gifts.... the family is together and that's more what it's about anyways...

Santa brought me and my wife twins! (NO, not twin outboards )

Well, not for another 7 months anyways, geeesh, come to think of it, that will cut into boating season now wont it! Better not mention that to her. But I will need a bigger boat now, off to the Boat Show I Go!

well mine is going back to Dicks Sporting Goods. i got a foul weather suit, you northern guys would kill for. it is so heavy, that heck would have to freeze over to use it here. i'm sure i will find some toys for exchange.

I got a chance to buy some stuff for a needy family who couldnt get there kids anything for Christmas this year......Took the money I had saved for a boat and spent it on them...........No boat for me this year but man did it feel good.......Truth is up till then it didnt even feel much like Christmas to me.......The whole 70s-80s degree temptures really threw me off this year.......Dont ever remember sweating at Christmas before

Merry Christmas to all our fellow iboaters from Rick and Barb Thompson. Followed a piece of yarn attached to a christmas card and it led me to my workshop that contained a used but very nice 80 gallon 5hp 2 stage air compressor! Also several good boating and fishing items to be grateful for!

Now it's time to head out and make the rounds in our 80 degree somewhat overcast but very pleasant Christmas Day....

i got a bass pro camo vest, camo hat, camo gloves. now i can stand in my yard and no one will see me. also some fishing lures, a couple of boat parts. all is good. now if i can get td's foul weather suit, i'd be even more delighted. now comes the big turkey and all the trimmings. also i'm raising my glass to mikeandronda. god bless you and everyone on here.

For starters I woke up to one of 4 white Christmas's on record and only the 4th time (on record) that it was actually snowing on Christmas Day. Reminding myself of the real reason for the season the Family gets ready (slept in pretty late) for our family celebration.

Both kids are here for Christmas and whatever should reveal itself from under the tree pales in comparison.
