Dang everyone here is so civil!!! haha I don't have a job anymore so I rarely get angry. But I know what you are talking about with the bondo glass. First hole I repaired was a small screw hole and it popped out. The second one I did I used a big drill bit and used it to bevel or make a countersink in the hole then filled it with bondo glass. Sanded smooth and it will not come out or crack.

Yes- I became civil when my wife tamed me:)

lowkee it appeared the question had been answered and the threaded had drifted didn't seem like a big imposition my apologies to those it bothered. I usually start a thread but this one was along the same lines it didn't seem like I was stepping on Ofc's toes maybe I'm wrong.

Back to the OP's question.

It needs to be sanded thoroughly and then reglassed, fillers aren't up to the job.

Im doing this right now on mine, I did it somewhat how lowkee did his (watch his video its good), I ground all the de-laminated glass away (Which ended up being A LOT 2.5 feet) Came from the inside and ground away the cracked and dry mat, laid in two pieces of 6 inch glass along the "hole". Let that cure, went underneath and ground away a nice bevel, and cut 3 more strips of glass to fit within the bevel.

Could not finish today as it was VERY hot and I was getting frustrated with the resin kicking very very fast. Once I get the bottom patches on I will fill the small imperfections or uneven parts with bondo glass or marine tex and sand smooth.

We are starting to prep for paint and have now found 10-15 small repairs needing to be made, 1 decent sized crack and that big hole (from the inside of the hull it looks as if the factory never wetted out certain parts of the woven) This is where ALL of our cracks are. Its kinda scary that there are SO many places where the woven is dry.
