Gps/Fishfinder combo recommendations

I currently have the Humminbird 161 and seriously wanna destroy my transducer. I have mounted and adjusted that stupid thing a lot and have rooster tail and inaccurate depth readings with interference from motor. I ran the trans wire completely away from motor wiring and still no luck. I am looking for color gps/fishfinder that works please.:facepalm: Also looking for one where i can just upload coordinates instead of programming them.

Your transducer may be installed as a "shoot thru" the hull transducer according to the HB 161 specs http://www.humminbird.com/FAQ.aspx?ContentId=1754

You could at least try that before spending money on a more powerful and pricey unit, with which you would still have the same transom mount location problem. If you're ready to make a big move, this could be it.http://www.boatersland.com/raya50d.html
