A transducer is a transducer. As long as the frequency is the same it will "technically" work.
The difference is in the connectors and the way the connector is wired to the transducer. Unless you?re willing to cut the connector off the existing transducer and soldering the new connector back on, making any wiring changes in the process, I?d install the new transducer.
