While pulling the remains of rotten stringers out of my 72 chesapeak i found that the fiberglass inside the hull had delaminated from the cored plywood, and that much of the plywood core material had detached from the base hull. Other than throwing a stick of dynamite inside, is there any ideas out there for a reasonable fix. It looks to me like I will have to dig out all the core wood sand the inner hull and reglass and replace the core material and then glass over that, then replace the stringers and floor. I am getting tired just thinking about it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: grady hull delamination

I think you have agood idea of what needs to be done and how, not fun, but it's probably what you should do.
