grease not going in gimbal

trying to grease the gimbal and it's coming out by the hole, did I miss it or maybe the band spun around?

Did you spin the bearing as you pumped in the grease. Is it possible that it is full? By the pic, I would guess that your passage into the bearing are not aligned. Are you sure that the bearing even is greaseable. The newer ones are "maintenance free" and are not greaseable.

Ayuh,...... Before ya do that, that's the outer race, that gimbals,.....
Yer gonna need to realign after, but wobble the outer race around,......
Ya might get Lucky, 'n it'll take the grease,.....

'n I agree on rotatin' the bearing as ya grease it,....
Idlin' on the muffs, it's easy peasy,....
