I was not sure how to approach this so I thought I would post this and see what happens.
There is a great post containing information about poly resin and glass selection in oops's "Hull extension" thread. Written by Ondarvr, post no. 90 has concise information about different types of glass cloth and poly resins.
The "Hull extension" thread is a wealth of glassing information. The complete thread is a great source of information for anyone doing a fiberglass project. I single out Ondarvr's post no.90 because it contains information specific to glass and resin selection.
With oops and Ondarvr's permission, and the permission of the forum moderators, I would like to see post no.90 "stuck" in the Boat Restoration forum.
I highly recommend oops's "Hull extension" thread to anyone researching information on the use of poly resins and fiberglass reinforcements. I found it very informative.
