A colleague of mine helped develop a chart program that overlays on Google Earth. This is a Beta version and is free for all. It has coverage nationwide with highlighted navigation aides and the advantage of satellite view of landmarks. I like it - hope you find it useful too!

Pardon my paranoia, but as soon as I clicked the link, it went to view of my house. Is this supposed to happen, or coincidence, or WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Great software tool

Hoss, alot of software recognizes your general location from the hub location of your internet connection. Very big brother but very common.

How close of a view? Mine went to a wide view of both home and work which are about twenty miles apart.

Re: Great software tool

Your ip address track backs to a genral location. some more specific than others. It doesn't even come close to my house when I click it. It's at least 150 miles off.
