Ok, first, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, but thanks for putting that out there and sharing.

2nd...what a cool boat, and you have the right tow rig! (Guess why I think that?)

I'm not sure where in Minny you're at, but there was a guy in Byron, MN (by Rochester) that had a whole collection of vintage outboard motors for sale...might find a parts motor or 2 if you need to.

Wow... just wow! I sat here for a while wondering how to respond to that. All I can say is I know what it feels like to work on a project in someones honor. Just remember when times get tough, just think of her.

As far as the boat goes... the stringers in my latest project were not clued down. All I had to do is cut the skin and they just popped out. When I start girding, I am going to roll it out on the driveway and do it there. No matter how careful you are, the dust gets everywhere.

Funny you should mention the guy in Byron MN. I am heading down to pick up his 1959 Mercury 55AE on Thursday! Thanks guys for the pointers. I am going to try and tackle the stringers this weekend. I will post pics as I do it.
