How do you clean your bimini top before applying it? Did you remove it from the boat, poles and all? What did you use to clean it with. Can I use a brush on it or will that rip it?

First Boat,I removed my top from the supports and soaked it in convertible top cleaner.You can use a brush but dont overdo it in one spot or you will leave a bright spot there.I just bought 5 cans of it to put on the shelf in my garage.Usually when I find a great product it is discontinued before I can buy more.Better safe than sorry.

Just an added use from down south, need your trailer carpet to be slicker for getting the boat out? Spray the Silicon water on the runners but be careful as the difference in loading your boat will amaze you and I know it will last at least 2 summers!!!
