What a great weekend this last was. Fired up the ol' bayliner, went though Lake Washington, Lake Union and out through the Ballard locks for the first time this year. Headed for Gig Harbor and made a quick stop at Blake Island for a doggy pee break. Thought it might rain on us but we got lucky and missed it the whole trip. Tied up at the Tides tavern (free) had a good dinner and listened to a small band with a gal that had an awesome voice. Spent the night and headed home nice and liesurely the next day. This is why we like boating in the Northwest. Next month...San Juan Islands
