Hows everyone been doing? Haven't been poking around the forum for awhile but the slanted SS has been on my brain lately, so thought Id drop by.

Looking like this weekend me and a friend may be doing a double header starcraft recovery into the grand state of Indiana, 2.5hrs away. My buddy was looking for a runabout and I found him a 16ft w/ 50hp Johnson that the guy wants to trade for an old bow mount trolling motor. While that was being worked out I found my dream boat. 16ft SS that's a half hour from his. Both are full on restos. So this Saturday the plan is drive two trucks down with one empty trailer and come home with two complete rigs. This could get interesting. I'll snap some pictures as we progress. Prayers are requested.

Welcome back! I think Dozer calls a trip your upcoming one a milk and bread run for the Admiral.:D

Drag your Dreamboat home followed by pics, of course.

Glad to see you back.

Hoping Murphy is busy on either of the coasts. Safe travels and good luck with the twins.

Thanks for the well wishes boys. Confirmations with the sellers are made. A plethora of tools, bungie straps, and duck tape are loaded in the Silveraydo. Breakfast at 6:30, then we hit the road.

First stop 16ft SS for me. Owner ended up being an iboats member and held onto it for me till this weekend. Great guy and a great deal. Thanks again Lee!

Picked mine up and headed a half hour back towards home and picked up this old girl for my buddy. No trailer came with it so we took motor off and loaded onto my buddies pontoon trailer. Sat on it perfect.

Loaded and on the road.

Stop for lunch. People had to be wondering what those two idiots were doing taking pictures of old ugly boats. Lol

Back home now. Had no issues. Things went perfect.

Congrats on a successful twin grab.

Be honest, ever hum the theme to mission impossible on the drive down? :)
