grey milky oil on rebuilt aq130

hello i just put a new head gasket and rings in the motor, i had a stuck ring in the 4th cyl giving me low compression, I had a valve job done. It was running pretty good when i discovered this.so i took the motor out, honed the cylinders, cleaned the ring grooves( with limited saticfaction,,See posting "ringing the aq130c") washed out the block and put it back together. when putting the head gasket on I did use A special alinment tool for the head, , I didnt use the volvo special tool , but had one machined at work. I am sure it worked correctly but now i have grey milky oil after 15 min of running. how could i have screwed this up.

why were you changing the headgasket and rings?

Did you overheat it?

Well I'v drained the oil and am going to replace with new. And do a compression check to see where i stand.
I've either contaminated the oil cavity inside of block with water or simple green prior to final assembly.

Put the gasket on improperly positioned.

or the exaust manifold went south during the rebuild.

Hurray, It looks as if i'm in the clear. Changed the oil and the filter, ran her for about 45 min while i tinkered w/ the carbs and gave it a look over for any signs of any other problems. did a compression check , i have 145 -150 psi across the cylinders. I was hoping for 170 or above maybe it will climb as the rings seat.
Anyhow, no water has appeared in the oil. So i Think I'll take her out and cruise around tomorrow.
