hey Rob! It could be that maybe your not using a cutting wheel with your grinder.A regular grinding wheel will not cut your floor out like a cutting wheel will.A cutting wheel is very thin and acts like a spinning blade.Cuts fiberglass coated wood like butter!

Good point, the right wheel is mandatory, might have to search around. Try Razorblades by Flexovit, Super thin blades, clean cuts, lots of nice nasty dust but that's what fans are for!<br /><br />Here is a link, Razorblades
