Ground Wire Position

1996 Mercruiser 5.7L I/O. I just noticed that my main ground wire from the battery and 5 other small Ground wires are grounded to the Bell Housing and not the block. I do believe that the bolt goes through to the block. Does anyone see a problem with this? My gauges do jump a little more than I think they should. Thanks

Ground wires are grounded to the Bell Housing and not the block

That's how the come from the factory.
