I've just spent 6 months (part time) rebuilding a yamaha 90hp 3 cylinder, 1998 engine, after major powerhead failure. I did not even know what a carby was before I began, but with the help of a clymers manual, the drawings at the yamaha-motor.com web site and this group I'm almost there (with only one part leftover - a washer) !

Before disassembly, I took approx 500 digital photos. Would you believe it, not a single one shows me where all of the black grounding wires go. I understand that most connect directly to the powerhead, which connects to the lower leg at the front of the engine. Can anyone direct me to a wiring diagram that includes the location of the grounding bolts on the powerhead ?

Kind Regards

Liam
