I have a 1987 Evinrude 150 we just bought our boat and haven't had a decent day boating yet. my Hubby and I are both frustrated, pissed off and feeling abused because we feel we have been had. Boat idles well, and will run in forward or reverse however as soon as you accelerate in gear it will die down/bog down, to me, it seems like not getting enough fuel ( this only happens when it is in gear we can throttle the hand throttle up all the way and it is fine)I should add this is only when we are at the lake, runs great in the driveway with water to it. we have 60 lbs of compression on all cyclindars have replaced plugs and cleaned carbs.

any ideas suggestions if something doesn't work soon I am afraid I am going to put it in the bottom of the resiviour.
