We have a few inches and it is slippery on the roads....... LOL now Andy in NY has gotten 10" plus in his neck of NY which is only a few hours from me....... It's not fun but it's funny when other people get more!
Yeah, I hear you. I was over at the neighbor's last evening in my shirt sleeves. The wind picked up, the temp DROPPED, the sky clouded up, and HEY, WAIT is that SNOW? It only lasted 10 or 15 minutes though.
i feel your pain. i hate late season snow. just as you're getting ready for better temps the powers that be dump more of that crap on you. we've been very lucky here this year. so far anyways. hoping to ride the motorcycle to work again tomorrow.
We got 44 degrees this morning in SC and it is almost May!! Well below normal.
I would not live anywhere that it snowed in April. Man that would stink
We had 90 degree days at the end of March. Then we started a roller coaster ride of temps. Below normal and then above normal. Back and forth. Very frustrating. You see lots of crazy people though out there rafting and swimming since March. I wait until the water reaches 80 degrees LOL If this keeps up then it will be the middle of May before that happens. 80s/60s starting Friday. Upper 70s today.
Some years are like this and some move right into Summer without a Spring. Those Summer years are usually drought years. So there is a bad trade off. At least we have lots of rain. I would move if I had snow ....
we've been getting hammered for the last week or so, got a ton a week ago today, 12-16" stuck but I'd guesstimate 24" fell as fast as it was falling. more today but it's melting quick, not even an inch

You don't know how lucky you are! I NEVER see snow here, and I really wish I did. I LOVE skiing and have to travel a LONG way to do it...
Count your blessings. We have MONTHS when the temp doesn't drop below 90 and we don't see rain. Even the winter's are 'mild', never to freezing and mostly about 55-70 daytime temps. Nights can get cold, around 40-50....

We get some extreme cold weather (not as frequent as in the past) We hit cold patches where the temp goes to minus 30 degrees Celsius. (To put in perspective, -40 is where Celsius and Fahrenheit crossover) so it's too cold to function. I agree that some winter and snow isn't bad, but look at it for five months and it quickly changes you're perspective.
My brother has a home weather station and measured 20" in Dannemora, NY. I was there over the weekend and most of it was melted, but on Saturday I managed to throw several snowballs on May 1, a first for me! When I left on Sunday it was about 84.
