I have an opportunity to get a aluminum Grumman 4.4 meter boat for practically nothing (perhaps free). However, the boat is basically trashed. Needs new everything. Needs new transom. does not have a motor. and the keel has been severely dented from what looks like many beaching on chunk rocks. the bottom has a patch that is leaking. I do think that the trailer is in "ok" shape.
Would this be worth the restore to try to sell? I am not looking to make a fortune, but I don't want to put in all of the work just to break even or lose money either.
