gt 200 lower unit dis.

I can't figure out how to take a part the lower unit of my motor. I have it off with the shaft and water pump off along with the prop. I have removed the two stops that look like they hold the rest of the guts the prop was on. should that just pull out or am I missing something?

We'll assume it's a standard rotation gearcase and that it's a late model with the tabs holding the bearing carrier, not 4 bolts. Once you pull the tabs out you can pull the carrier with a standard puller.
