Top carb looks like a choke type, with the choke soliniod plunger hanging on the starboard side of the carb. that would date it pre 84<br /><br />Whoever said it didn't have spark advance is talking out the top of his head, the linkages are plainly visable.<br /><br />Flywheel is red, in 84 the wheel was dark green, or black<br /><br />looking at the contour of the most upest and lowest transfer covers, I will risk saying this engine has the power ported pistons <br /><br />The water pump impeller visable behind the engine looks pretty sad.<br /><br />Just my observations... Clams is probably the best to spot small details on inlines.<br /><br />My guess as to HP? 1979-81 140hp or 1882-83 115hp
