<br /><br />I caught the Stones at Western Springs Stadium in Auckland last night. After more than 40 years in the business - they still remember and know how to rock...<br /><br />This was part of their "A Bigger Bang" tour. They played a lot of their older hits, Jumping Jack Flash, Brown Sugar, It's only Rock n Roll, Ruby Tuesday, etc.. plus some tracks from their new album. <br /><br />They're still a great band and age didn't seem to be a problem...despite an incident earlier on where the local council demanded there be wheelchair access to the stage... Mick & Co insisted they didn't need it...

They are truly remarkable 62, I just hope they put a little more heart in your performance than they did at the Superbowl.

ARRRUG,, the superbowl act was horrible..<br /><br />i seen 'um in SF early 80's.. horrible then too.. mick was swallowin' the mike.. terrible.. could hardly tell what song it was.. <br /><br />what still blows me away is they're still together an STILL ALIVE..!!

That was embarrassing to say the least! Little old shinny white guy trying to sing and then jumping around like anyone cared?<br />We turned down the volume until it was over.

The Stones at the SuperBowl was Stupid!!! I mean it was in Detroit, for crying out loud. Seems like a slap in Motown's face to me. But I digress...
