Since we had this discussion earlier, I thought this was relevant. Apparantly the USA might soon lift gun restrictions in state and federal parks to allow firearms. This carries over to boating because it also affects your rights to carry firearms aboard your boats when in lakes and rivers governed by park laws and regulations.
The news story is below, but long story short, nearly half of the senators are asking for it, which means there's no doubt way more than half would sign off on it.
