Well Magster...anything is better than nothing. When you go looking for a sustainable eating plan, check out either the South Beach or Hamptons plans. Lots of real food, you are never hungry. And it's great that you're exercising. Good luck!!

OK, here's your update. I started weighing myself last;<br />Dec 15 / 252 lbs. morning.<br />Jan 15 / 249 lbs. morning. Started soup diet and walking at night<br />Feb 16 / 235 lbs. after lunch today. Diet weekdays then weekends off since the first week of strictly adhering to it. Still walking every night. Feelin' good!

Hey Rodbolt, I can relate to the smoking problems. Been there done that. The best advice I can give you once you're off again is to remember it's the first cigarette that hooks you. You can't go to a party and smoke one cigarette and return to non smoking. That first cigarette will do it every time. It plants that little seed in your mind again that tells you "just one more won't hurt". It took me years to figure that out. Once I truly acepted I can never smoke a cigarette again, I quit for good. It's a hard habit to break, but you did it once, you can do it again.
