I am looking at an advertisement for an 18 foot GW Invader Bravo. Can't find any information on the web except one reference that makes me think the company went out of business. Anyone familiar with the company and the quality of their boats? Thanks in Advance.

Re: GW Invader Bravo - any info?

Douglas- I owned a '93 GW Invader 200ES from '95 till '04 when I traded it in on my Fountain. There are times I wish I had it back- it was easy to drive, ran about 60mph with a 260 mercruiser, and gave me no problems. I traded it because I wanted a better ride on big lakes, and the Fountain certainly solved that problem. I miss the open bow and the ease of trailering the smaller boat. The company changed hands a few times over the years. I talked to the last owner around '96. The company was located somewhere near Indy, and closed around '98 I think. My boat had nice lines and seemed to be a solid build. I'd own another one if it fit my needs.
