I acquired a Johnson model CD-242 and dont know the horsepower rating or what year it is, other than the 1970's. I thinks it is a Ted Williams? It is in near mint condition, can anybody give the H.P., year, and estimated value of the motor? Thanks
A Johnson CD-24 is a 1967 6 hp. A CD model in good running condition (according to "The Old Outboard Book") is worth around $200. A collector may be willing to pay more.<br /><br />-John
